Oil Purifiers

Why Use An Oil Purifier Instead Of Only Equipment Filters→

Many hydraulic systems rely only on built-in small filter elements. However, this approach has significant inherent limitations that can compromise system performance and longevity.

  • Built-in filters have limited dirt holding capacity due to small size and limited filtration area
  • Hydraulic shock during equipment reversal can dislodge captured particles, reducing effective filtration efficiency
  • Oil cleanliness at delivery is often insufficient ?new oil typically NAS 9?2, heavy industry NAS 5?
  • Bypass filtration with independent pump systems provides stable pressure and larger filtration area
  • Oil purifiers offer better particle adhesion and continuous 24/7 operation capability
Why Use Oil Purifier
01
Limited Dirt Holding Capacity
Built-in filters are small with limited filtration area, easily becoming clogged and requiring frequent replacement.
02
Hydraulic Shock Impact
When equipment reverses direction, hydraulic shock can dislodge captured particles and reduce filtration efficiency.
03
Insufficient Oil Cleanliness
New oil typically NAS 9?2, heavy industry 5?, while power plant EH systems require NAS ?.
04
Bypass Filtration Advantage
Oil purifiers have independent pump systems with stable pressure and larger filtration area.

How Oil Purifiers Work

Understanding the core technologies behind effective oil filtration

Vacuum Oil Filtration Principle

Oil In → Pre-filter → Heater → Vacuum Chamber → Fine Filter → Oil Out
  • Vacuum dehydration: Negative pressure lowers water boiling point for rapid evaporation
  • Multi-stage filtration: Pre-filter removes large particles, fine filter captures micro-particles
  • Precision可达NAS 4-6: Cleanliness level suitable for precision hydraulic systems

Result: Water Content from 500ppm → Below 10ppm

Vacuum dehydration can reduce water content from 500ppm to less than 10ppm in a single pass.

Coalescence Dehydration Principle

Oil+Water → Coalescing Filter → Demulsification → Separation → Water Discharge
  • Coalescing effect: Small water droplets merge into larger ones
  • Demulsification: Breaks oil-water emulsion structure
  • Gravity separation: Water settles to bottom and is automatically drained
  • Suitable for: Hydraulic oils, lubricants, turbine oils with emulsified water

Result: Emulsified Oil → Clean Oil + Separated Water

Coalescence technology effectively handles oils that are difficult to separate with simple filtration.
